Our Foundation is the Blood of Jesus: The greatest power of the Saints!
Paul the Apostle, made it clear to the Corinthians that what he preached to them is what he received, and what he received is what he stands on. And what he stands on is what saved him! And what saved him becomes his foundation! 1 Corinth. 15:1, 2 He further proclaims: “that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, and He was seen by Cephas, then by the twelve… vs. 3-8. Thus the gospel of redemption from sins and eternal death through the Blood of Jesus Christ is the foundation of Hosanna Revivals. Anything else is secondary!
There is Life in the Blood
In Leviticus 16:15-22, God commanded the Israelites to offer sacrifice to “cover” their sins every year. The High Priest is to make atonement for himself and the people with the blood of a goat sprinkle around the altar and then burn the fat as a pleasing aroma unto God. He then placed his hands on the head of a second goat, confessed the sins of the people, then taken out into the wilderness and set loose to carry away the sins of the people. Thus the sins of the people were kept under the cover of the blood of animal sacrifices for one year and then another sacrifice is to be made.
In Leviticus 17:11, God commanded the people of Israel not to eat blood: “For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for Aaron it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul” by the reason of life in it.
It is the Blood that makes atonement for sins
Over 2000 years ago, Jesus became the perfect sacrifice for our sins and eternal life. He not only covers our sins with His Blood, He also carries it away forever. Romans 8:34. The Blood of Jesus takes care of the past, present and future sins of all humanity. It is the perfect sacrifice from the perfect High Priest, who continually interceding for us before the Most High God. Hebrew 7:26, 27.
If Christ has not been raised!
If Christ is not raised from His grave, then my preaching of Him, my faith, my foundation and the foundation of Hosanna Revivals are all in vain. "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive". 1 Corinthians 15:12-16. We baptize to identify with the death and resurrection of Christ. The resurrection through Christ's sacrifice is not limited to this world. It is extended to eternity. Thus Apostle Paul writes: “For this corruptible must put on incorruption and this mortal must put immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written 'Death is swallowed up in victory”. Vs. 53-54
What Hosanna Revivals stands on is what saved me!
My friends don’t ever condemn what Christ has paid so much to redeem! The Blood of Jesus Christ is the highest payment ever offered by God on the table of sacrifice for the lost souls. That drug addicted persons up the 34th Street in New York City, that prostitutes down the alley of Detroit, that alcoholics down the street of Chicago are all part of the souls Jesus came to save. Thus Paul, the Apostle loudly proclaims: "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me". Galatians 2:20
The Bible says we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
We are all sinners saved by grace not a work any man should boast. Ephesians 2:5
Salvation is a gift certificate from God’s Throne written with Jesus’ Blood. It is a free gift sanctified by the Blood of Jesus. It is the Blood that redeems! It is the power in the Blood that saves! No more condemnation! No more yearly sacrifice is needed like the Old Testament! It was done once and for all.
Now I say unto you: “if the same Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11. At the sound of the last Trumpet, it is resurrection unlimited for those that believe in Christ. Now let’s stand on our feet and praise the Holy One of Israel.
